Pengpeng Xiao

I’m Pengpeng Xiao (肖芃芃), a second-year PhD student in Physics at Yale University, advised by Dr. Lu Lu in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. I am supported by the Gruber Science Fellowship at Yale.

My research interests lie at the intersection between AI and physics. I am particularly interested in using machine learning to model and solve physical systems, including work on quantum neural operators, partial differential equations, and data assimilation.

Previously, I received my BSc in Physics from Fudan University, where I worked with Dr. Jiayin Gu on high-energy phenomenology.
